Slab or pad
Most structures need a level concrete slab or compacted pad, sized to the manufacturer's specs. We'll tell you which applies to your building.
Delivery access
The install crew needs a clear path for a delivery truck and materials to reach the site — gates, low branches, and soft ground all matter.
Utilities & setbacks
Know where underground lines and property setbacks fall before we finalize placement.
Permits & HOA
Permitting and HOA approval are handled by you as the property owner. We're happy to point you to your local building department.

Does Bird Dog Structures build or install the buildings?
No. Bird Dog Structures is an independent local dealer and project coordinator. A partner manufacturer engineers, fabricates, delivers, and installs your structure under its own agreement with you. See our full disclosures for details.
Do you handle permits?
No. Permitting and HOA approval are the property owner's responsibility. We can point you toward your local building department, but we don't file or manage permits.
Do I need a concrete slab?
Most structures need a level slab or compacted pad. The exact requirement depends on the building and manufacturer — we'll confirm what your project needs before you order.
